Morning at Sun Moon Lake :)
It was really sunny, super hot day. At least it didn't rain :D
The water was sparkling...
OUCH! MY EYES!
Boarded a ferry to go to the theme park...
While walking on the way to the cable car, I saw this:
xD Awww... I feel like bringing it home!
Took a cable car to the Formosan Aboriginal Theme Park...
When we reached, we took the Mayan Roller Coaster. It kept turning us upside down.
It was awesome but scary!

After that we took the Pirates Ship.
I have to admit that it was pretty scary...
And then there was this Hot Air Balloon ride
(I think it was for little kids, but it was fun!)
There was this UFO ride outside.
I didn't dare to ride it because I'm not really in for those vertically- drop rides.
The very last cable car left at 4 and so we had to hurry.
Leaving Formosa...
Reached the hotel early that day :D Though we did go to shop around that Sun Moon Lake area to buy souvenirs and foodie stuff.
DAY 9 (December 14- Friday): NANTOU (南投)
We changed room from last night (we're facing Sun Moon Lake now)
so we saw the beautiful sunrise...
Took pictures at the different stages of sunrise. It was beautiful.
On the way to the High Speed Rail Station (HSR), we passed a bamboo forest at Xitou
We kept on walking but couldn't see any bamboo.
But we saw squirrels!
We went on the University Pond...
Alas, on the way to the exit, we found the bamboo forest!
Took the HSR back to Taipei.
DAY 10 (December 15- Saturday): TAIPEI (台北)
We went to Tamsui Old Street (or Fisherman's Wharf) next to see the wonderful colours of sunset.

Went to the Beitou Hot Springs...
We went to the ultra- mega hot spring first. It was super hot, BOILING HOT! It was so itchy, but the person there told us not to scratch... We could not let the hot spring water touch our faces and we had to get out of the water every 3- 5 minutes.

DAY 11 (December 16- Sunday): TAIPEI (台北)
Weather: OK.
Updates: National Palace Museum and Taipei 101 today xD (Too bad we couldn't take pictures at NPM .)
We visited Taipei 101 afterwards!
The lift travelled at a really high speed.

We went home the next day :( Taiwan was a great experience and I definitely wouldn't mind making a second trip there :D
