fun taiwan: Dec 14 - Dec 17

DAY 8 (December 13): Sun Moon Lake, Nantou (日月潭,南投)

Morning at Sun Moon Lake :)
It was really sunny, super hot day. At least it didn't rain :D

The water was sparkling...
OUCH! MY EYES!

Boarded a ferry to go to the theme park...

While walking on the way to the cable car, I saw this:

xD Awww... I feel like bringing it home!

Took a cable car to the Formosan Aboriginal Theme Park...

When we reached, we took the Mayan Roller Coaster. It kept turning us upside down.
It was awesome but scary!
Us before the ride:

Us after the ride:
(lol Actually I don't see much of a difference :P)

After that we took the Pirates Ship.
I have to admit that it was pretty scary...

And then there was this Hot Air Balloon ride
(I think it was for little kids, but it was fun!)

There was this UFO ride outside.
I didn't dare to ride it because I'm not really in for those vertically- drop rides.

The very last cable car left at 4 and so we had to hurry.

Leaving Formosa...

Reached the hotel early that day :D Though we did go to shop around that Sun Moon Lake area to buy souvenirs and foodie stuff.

DAY 9 (December 14- Friday): NANTOU (南投)

We changed room from last night (we're facing Sun Moon Lake now)
so we saw the beautiful sunrise...
Took pictures at the different stages of sunrise. It was beautiful.

fun taiwan: Dec 10 - 13

Us riding in a boat (Taken by our tour guide, 小喜)

Jade picking :)

What we found in the end :)
Lots of jade :D
Though I think that's low- quality jade :(
Hehe.

We went to Chaofeng Ranch next...

fun taiwan: Dec 6 - Dec 9

This is going to be a super ultra long post... so I split it up into 3 parts :)

DAY 1 (December 6- Thursday): TAIPEI (台北)

Our hotel room at Caesar Park :D

That's a good PSLE study table :)

MEGA bathroom xD
(Haha, even the toilet bowl has that special butt- washing thingie >.<)

Here's Taipei Railway Station from our window...

And on a postcard that we bought at Tamsui Old Street (淡水老街)

The station is really big.

We went to Ximending (西门町) after resting in our hotel room.

DAY 2 (December 7- Friday): STILL AT TAIPEI (台北)

The view on the way to Yehliu...

Yehliu Geopark:

Haha, OK here's the part you would wanna read most.
The Queen's head rock xD

We kids standing in front of this famous rock formation.

JIUFEN OLD STREET (九分老街):

Jiufen was high up in the mountains. It was named Jiufen because there used to be 9 families living there (I don't know whether this is true but that's what the tour guide told us :P)

The view up here at Jiufen :D
