iLight @ marina bay

Yesterday we visited iLight @ marina bay :-)) but it was closed from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm because of Earth Hour. you can read about iLight here.

The wishing! tree

Basically, you write your wishes on a strip of blue plastic and you keen throwing it till your wish gets hooked up successfully on the tree's branches

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone came down to the floating platform to promote Earth Hour and it was really crowded.

We waited till 8.30 pm at the helix bridge hoping to take a video of the skyline as the lights turned off one by one but not all the lights turned off :-(

So we went back to iLight after Earth Hour.

kukup: day two

Day Two at Kukup!

We visited Kukup's nature reserve and some floating houses / fishing farm of sorts -

kukup: day one

We went to Kukup for a short getaway on Saturday.

Kukup is a small fishing village in the district of Pontian, Johor, on the Strait of Malacca in Malaysia. All of the houses and shops there are built on stilts to prevent flooding during high tide.

lifeskills camp: day one

Week 10 aka Lifeskills Camp week has started! :D For Lifeskills Camp this year, our class was assigned to visit the elderly at Bendemeer senior activity centre to play games with them, entertain them etc. :D
For day one, we had a community walkabout - basically walking around Bendemeer and getting to know the community better - eg. the surroundings and stuff (decided to post day one on its own otherwise the post would be really really long with a week's worth of photographs)
