old but gold

The end of year holiday calls for more photography trips so here's one that I went on yesterday with Yengho and Leepoop! Singapore is just tiny so our planning for so-called "trips" really just end with us going to someone's home to eat / watch tv / eat some more HAHAHA
Anyway yesterday we decided to explore places with cool architecture and ended up with a list consisting of People's Park Complex, Rochor Centre and the maze at Marina Square!

Our first stop was the People's Park Complex, which basically is this super tall yellow building in Chinatown. To get there, exit Chinatown MRT via Exit C, then keep taking escalators and stairs up till you reach the roof.
Flexibility A1 HAHAHA
tq yengz for this photo it is truly very nice

The trick is to find big puddles of water to make photos interesting
(we basically copied this idea off all dem popular instagrammers lmao)

I am totally barmos in this photo

Outside Lepark

Pretending to laugh and talk is our forte LOL

Yengho lay down on the dirty ground so she could get a good angle to take photos!
wow! #dedication

Yengho brought her curler and decided to curl her bangs there and then bc why not!
wow such a hardworking bangs owner! #dedication

Our next stop was Rochor Centre (the one with 4 colourful buildings!) at Rochor/Bugis. I personally find it more convenient to go to Bugis MRT and then find your way from there.
It's not going to be there very much longer because it is going to be demolished to make way for the construction of the new highway so one should visit soon before it goes!

Pretty obvious that our favourite block was the blue one because we only took photos with it
Guess who brought her sunglasses along LOL

Our last supposed stop for the day was the maze at Marina Square - and we came out of it with no photos HAHAHA ok so we saw tons of photos of the maze on Instagram and we were like wow! time to take chio photos! And we thought well ok it is a maze after all so there should be a beginning and an end + all parts of the maze should be connected - turns out this maze is worse than a maze because there are stairs that lead to weird and dark places in Marina Square HAHAHA imagine how freaked out we noobs were when some music played out of nowhere and the door boomed shut lmao ok we truly are losers. I think we'll come back when we have a bigger party!

Being the hungry noobs that we always are, we ate Bingsu and chilled before deciding to catch the sunset in front of the Esplanade.

Sunset by the river

I hope you've enjoyed the photos from this adventure! Old places are always nice to visit and make very interesting settings - it is such a pity that they're always cleared to make new spaces. Hoping to find more places to explore on this tiny island I call home! Till next time xx
