Hello again! I have lots of time to kill so I shall write a bit about Tasmania and include film pictures I took there. A more detailed post will come after I finish the one about Taiwan!

Approximately 3 days or so after my class trip to Taiwan, I embarked on a trip to Tasmania (and 3 days in Melbourne) with my family and my mom's friend. We started off our adventure in Launceston   –

That's all the film shots I have HAHA was quite happy with how clear and colourful most of them turned out! Yea and forgot to say this but the vision in my right eye isn't perfect so I have to wear specs whenever I use the film cam otherwise I can't focus it perfectly. It's kinda tedious doing that and interchanging lenses between the film cam and DSLR but the photos make it pretty worth it! And I guess that's the reason for why I don't take a lot of film pictures welp  ¯\ _(ツ)_/¯

Anyway I think I'll be writing the Taiwan post soon since I'm in the mood for writing now ~~~ see y'all bois

Hello! It has been more than a year since I last wrote here. I know, I can't believe it too. It's surreal to think that the days of wearing a school uniform are now over. Cheers to adulting haha welp

Anyway, mid last year, my JC classmates and I started planning for a trip to Taiwan (actually mostly Val and Ariel lol the rest of us are lazy children) and being the ballers we were, we left on the night of our last paper (which was MCQ ezclap lmao kidding). We agreed that we wouldn't mind missing prom either so we skipped that and came back on 8th December.

I'll write a more detailed post including DSLR pictures and all when I'm not so lazy - so this will have to do for now. I'm pretty happy with how all of the film pictures came out though!

That's it for the film pictures – didn't take a lot because I had the other camera to handle too welp. Took quite a few film shots for Australia though so that'll will probably be my next blog post since I think I'm still too lazy to do a full-fledged recap on Taiwan lmao.

hanoi: city of the rising dragon (and other places)

Back after (almost) one year! I can't believe it's December already – 2017 has been a blur for the most part, it being my first year in JC (probably why I had 0 time and 0 inclination to blog about anything HAHA). So many things happened in 2017, it was hard keeping track of things at times welp but I'll try to do a recap of sorts so I can look back at it in the future and remember the events. Also, it's been more than 1 year since our trip to California! – of which I've only blogged about San Francisco rip cheers to procrastinating I think that will be a side project for now HAHA I need to slowly recall the sequence of events bless me

Anyway, enough rambling for now I think you get the idea that I'm a big time procrastinator welp but I decided that our recent trip to Hanoi, Vietnam was worth writing about and I want to write all of it down before it fades into memory (which also means everything is forgotten rip).

Day 1 – November 28, Tuesday

Touched down in the afternoon at Noi Bai International Airport after a 3 hour flight, and proceeded to take a 30 min ride through Hanoi to our hotel in the Old Quarters. We were pretty hungry so we took a short walk from our hotel to New Day restaurant (as recommended by the hotel staff) and ate a shit ton of food meme #fatlife but it was only 23 bucks for 6 dishes (which probably would have cost twice as much in our expensive hometown of Singapore) Didn't take any pictures of the food because we were too hungry but here's the address:

Since we weren't attached to any tour group and didn't have any plans for that day, we decided to take a leisurely stroll around the Old Quarters and French Quarters with a few landmarks in mind.
